Meet our Agent of the Quarter Howard Fletcher!
With decades of real estate experience, it is safe to say that there is nothing Howard has not seen before. A true master of the craft of real estate, Howard still loves the industry and continues to challenge himself at every opportunity. But there is so much more to Howard than just being a real estate expert!
Motivated by his love of storytelling, Howard decided to return to school not too long ago to obtain his Masters in Journalism from the University of Maryland. Thereafter, he wrote articles for the Capital News Service and then went on to cover the Maryland legislature for the Capital Gazette in Annapolis. He also wrote and produced his own podcast series, "Ellicott City: Historic Town, Historic Water," which can be found on Apple Podcasts, SoundCloud, Spotify and other platforms. Even today, Howard continues to use his degree by writing marketing materials for clients or fellow Omnia agents to attract as many potential buyers/tenants as possible. He is also the genius behind our events section of the Omnia Newsletter, for which we are deeply appreciative.
Howard is a connoisseur of Mid-Atlantic viniculture. Or, put another way, he is an expert on the local wine and craft brew scene. He has a deep knowledge of most of the local vintners and brewers throughout the DMV and he has forged friendships with many of them over the years. Though Howard remains true to real estate, he did find a way to marry his interests—storytelling, local wineries/breweries, and real estate—by creating a podcast called, "Barrel Tasting with Howard Fletcher," which is a reliable source for insights into local wineries, craft brews and the DMV real estate market.
Not only is Howard interesting, he is a kind soul and has a generous spirit. With a warm smile, complete with dimples shining, Howard is always there to lend a hand. Reliable, kind and uber smart, Howard is more than just an awesome real estate expert. We are so grateful to call him a friend.
